  1. Soak chana daal for half an hour. Chop tomato n onion. Slice green chilli.
  2. Arrange spinach leaves, remove stems n roll the leaves n slice thinly.
  3. Wash n clean yellow moong daal n masoor daal too. Add in pressure cooker. Pour enough water. Add some salt n turmeric powder.
  4. Let it cook until 3 whistle or for about 15 to 20 minutes on low flame.
  5. Heat some water. Add salt n oil n let it boil for a minute or 2. Then remove the spinach leaves n soak in cold water.
  6. Heat oil n add cumin seeds. Let them crackle n add onions. Saute them for a while, then add green chilli n ginger garlic paste.
  7. Mix n cook well. Add tomatoes and cook until tomatoes got mashy.
  8. Add all the powdered masalas n mix well. Add water n let it simmer until oil floats on top.
  9. Let the pressure release from pressure cooker naturally n mash the daal with whisk n add to masala.
  10. Add blanched spinach leaves n mix well. Pour some more water to adjust consistency of daal. Let it boil for 5 minutes on medium flame.
  11. Heat oil n add cumin seeds, dry red chilli n garlic cloves. Let garlic turn light brown.
  12. Turn the flame off n add red chilli powder. Add tadka to daal n mix well. Enjoy the daal with rice.
